Munich is the perfect place for a beer-soaked stag weekend getaway, and not only for booze, there are so many stag do activities in Munich to enjoy. Why go to Munich? The more important question is why not?! If for no other reason than the giant beers, tasty sausage and hilarious German folk bands at the world-famous Hofbrauhaus. The Germans know how to party all night, and they're never above starting early: locals and tourists alike will spend all afternoon having a laugh in the beer halls. But there's more than just beer to Munich! There's art and opera, an opulent castle and one of the most famous glockenspiels in the world, and beautiful women in cleavage-baring costumes if you catch them at the right time. And yes, the beer makes it all even better.
Munich is Germany's second city, the Capital of Bavaria, host to millions upon millions of visitors each year. The city is full of Bavarian cliche's, but it's also ultramodern and doesn't shy away intense nightlife. Bars are opening and closing all the time, so the shape of the city's party culture is always shifting. The motto of the city has been "Munchen mag dich" ("Munich loves you") since 2006, and overall you really do get the feeling that most of the people in Munich are game for a laugh.
Pretty much any airport in the UK can get you to Munich, but your cheapest options will generally be London, Manchester, or Edinburgh from about £30 or less with EasyJet. The trip breezed by at just under two hours. Everywhere you'll want to go and everything you'll want to see in town is easily accessible on foot or via the overground and underground trains - just be sure you're on the platform right on time, because these train schedules are serious business!
It doesn't have to be Oktoberfest for you to have an amazing Munich stag do (though it never hurts to visit for Oktoberfest!). Whether you want to take a guided beer-crawl and experience as many of Munich's 20 beer halls as you can, or you'd rather get out of the city for some white water rafting or go-karting, they can oblige! There are so many Munich stag do activities to choose from. Classics like paintballing and high-ropes courses are all here for you to enjoy, along with wakeboarding and indoor beach volleyball. If you're more for the cultural scene, take a walking tour (or go by Segway if you don't mind looking like complete tourists) and visit any of the 60 museums in Munich.
Germany is one of those great countries where you can get a stripper pretty much anywhere, and they're all guaranteed to be ridiculously sexy. Order one in to wake up the stag with a dance, bring a lesbo show to your location for a performance you'll never forget, call a dancer to entertain the group as you cruise the city in a limo with beer in hand. You can get dinner with a strip show, followed by dessert off a hot local's naked body. Then it's VIP treatment at the top nightclubs in Munich with a guide to make sure you get what you're after - and if you're still not satisfied, go touring through the lap dancing clubs. If you're not completely destroyed after all that, well, there's always tomorrow.
