A hen do in Marbella is impossible to be outdone, and if you and the girls are eager for the taste of the sweet life, then this southern Spanish destination is THE perfect place to be! Now, Marbella really knows how to pamper it’s punters - with miles of stunning beaches, fun-filled activities, not forgetting the enviable nightlife in nearby Puerto Banús. Right in the middle of the Costa del Sol, it’s an incredibly popular spot for hens searching for the ultimate last nights of freedom (so don’t be too surprised if you become besties with everyone straight away!).
Although Marbella doesn’t have its own airport, it’s just under a 3-hour flight from the UK to Malaga (about 40 minutes or so from Marbella - speak to one of our team for your own private transfers to get the weekend off to a fabulous start). Once there, it won’t be long before you're topping up those tans, sipping exotic cocktails along the Golden Mile. Everything you’ll need for an unforgettable hen do in Marbella is within walking distance, but nothing more than a quick taxi ride to Puerto Banús will get you right into the heart of the action.
A favourite among party-goers, Marbella is renowned for its vibrant party atmosphere, breath-taking coastline and great if you fancy rubbing shoulders with celebs. As the ‘Miami’ of the Costa del Sol, it’s a playground of the rich and famous - from the likes of Audrey Hepburn, Eva Longoria and Kate Moss, to TOWIE stars and a Kardashian or two!
Marbella hen weekends are best enjoyed during May and September; that’s when the heat really hits. You can expect the majority of clubs, bars and boats to be off limits during the winter months, so you won’t get to experience the true Marbella lifestyle. If you’re looking to experience the more authentic side of the south of Spain, exploring Marbella’s town is a must. Along the winding cobbled streets, you’ll find plenty of tapas restaurants, bars and local shops (perfect for your inner-tourist).
No Marbella hen weekend is complete without a visit to the original classic beach club - Ocean Beach. In the famous marina that is Puerto Banús, Ocean Beach is the spot to be if you fancy lounging around a luxurious saltwater pool on sunbeds, with breath-taking views across the Mediterranean Sea. Keep an eye out for their famous Champagne parties!
If you want some hardcore indulgance, splurge at the many designer stores in Marbella. Whether it’s Gucci, Versace or Jimmy Choo, Louis Vuitton or Dolce & Gabbana just a stone's throw away in Puerto Banús, live the life of luxury.
Once the sun sets the party doesn’t stop. Carry the fun well into the evening with a cocktail masterclass to get those taste buds tingling! Then head out to Bijoux for a VIP area just for you and the girls, waitress service and endless drinks. If you’re wanting more, check into Tibu, Pangea and Kube and party hard until the early hours!
Nursing a heavy head from the night before? Get the full pamper experience with treatments at your accommodation. From getting your makeup and lashes done, to manicures, pedicures and a new hair-do, sit back, sip cava and leave it to the experts...
