Kim’s ring is absolutely stunning, but this is no surprise given how flashy Kanye can be. The way he proposed was very much a stage show, but these two are keeping up with the celebrity trend of big rocks and more carrots than roger rabbit. Taylor Kinney popped the question on Valentine's Day, so it was only fitting that he presented Lady Gaga with a heart-shaped diamond engagement ring. The platinum band consists of their initials ‘S’ (for Stefani) and ‘T’ (for Taylor) studded in forever brilliant white diamonds and placed on both sides of a glittering heart. Such a fairy tale design, it’s a personal favourite of mine.

Zayn Malik is thought to have proposed to the Little Mix star a few days before with this diamond sparkler. It’s an absolutely beautiful and somewhat traditional ring however the details are still unknown.

Christina Aguilera flaunted her bridal bling while on vacation with fiancé Matthew Rutler in February 2014. Rutler apparently spent an entire year custom-designing the ornate ring, which features a symbolic intertwining. The 4 carrot diamond is beautifully accompanied by platinum and white gold petals to complete the ring. A very romantic and eye catching design.

Mila Kunis's stunning engagement ring is a more traditional round-cut solitaire diamond, encased in a platinum band. It is around 5-carats and cost a whopping $260,000. But despite its massive size, it's a completely classic and romantic choice for the star. One of the most subtle I have seen.

Kate Middleton's sapphire sparkler has increased more than ten times in value. It consists of 14 solitaire diamonds surrounding a 12-carat oval blue Ceylon sapphire set in 18-karat white gold. It was originally the engagement ring of the late Princess Diana and was worth £28,000 when it was bought in 1981, but is now valued at £300,000.
